This is a &#8220;Belgo-American Ale&#8221; that pours hazy with very fine particles suspended in it, but you really have to look closely to notice them; head retention is decent. Smells of citrusy hops and funky Belgian yeast&#8230; intriguing. The taste is semi-sweet with fruity and spicy notes of banana, clove, and a hint a grapefruit with a smooth, creamy body. The finish is citrusy and spicy, with a low to moderate bitterness; notes of pepper and citrus peel. Overall, I was skeptical of the name, but I really like it.
