I review the beers I drink

Woodchuck – Winter Chill

An aptly named beverage for this evening, hiding inside from the blizzard today. This cider is clear with no head retention, smells of crisp apple and a subtle oak character. The taste is sweet with a little tartness around the edges, but it’s kept in check by the tannins and sugar; body is full. The finish is very oaky, giving a nice whisky note after you swallow, without the burn; a mild astringency cleans the palate and demands another sip. Overall, this is an excellent cider, the level of oakiness is perfect and it’s insanely quaffable.
