I review the beers I drink

Woodchuck – Semi-Dry

Clear with no head retention, smells of crisp apple juice, but very restrained. The taste is, as the name suggests, semi-dry with a bright flash of sweetness and acidity with a light body. The finish is dry with a mineral water quality that gets overpowered after you swallow by a final crescendo in the tartness and ensuing salivation that cleanses the palate. Overall, it delivers on the advertised experience, and I enjoy the restrained sweetness, I just wish they would have dialed back the tartness a bit as well.
