I review the beers I drink

Woodchuck – Granny Smith

Clear with no head retention, smells of fresh tart apples and a hint of pear. The taste is very sweet, with more notes of green apple and pear, perhaps some melon matched with a light body. The finish is very tart, the puckering begins just as soon as you swallow, and lasts until saliva washes it away. Overall, not a bad cider, a little too tart for me personally, but I enjoyed the surprise of the non-apple flavors, they added a nice subtle complexity to the experience.
