I review the beers I drink

Von Trapp – Vienna Lager

Hazy with light head retention, smells of soft fruity yeast and a hint a sourdough; aroma is very faint. The taste is crisp and refreshing, bold toasted bread and toffee, hints of smoke and minerals underneath all paired with a creamy smooth full body. The finish is extremely clean and low in bitterness, with predominantly herbal hops, but notes of citrus peel can be discerned as well. Overall, this is a great beer: balanced between malt and hops, balanced between complex and drinkable, this beer has it all.
