Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of pilsner malt and grassy hops. The taste is crisp and very dense with a doughy, biscuity malt profile and a thick, chewy mouthfeel. The finish is surprisingly complex and moderately bitter with notes of herbal, citrus, and tropical fruit. Overall, I’ve never seen an unfiltered pilsner before, but this one is well balanced and nuanced, yet has the classic drinkability pilsners are known for; very good.
