Moderately hazy with no head retention, smells of blood orange, orange blossom, and pale malt. The taste is crisp and fruity with flavors of orange juice, sourdough, and honeyed oats on a silky smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange gummies, orange peel, vanilla, and soft herbal hops. Overall, this is quite a tasty beer; it’s a bit heavier than most domestic examples of this style, closer to an authentic German radler, but is still very refreshing.
