Hazy with light head retention, smells of fresh dough, wheat, and subtle spices. The taste is crisp and doughy with citrus and a soft funkiness underneath the medium body. The finish is moderate in length and low in bitterness, with herbal and spicy hops and some yeastiness before fading to a fairly clean ending; as it warms lemongrass can also be detected. Overall, I like this one just a touch more than the Blonde de Chambly due to the clean finish, but they’re really very similar.
