So, I’m a metalhead and I love Megadeth. They’re not my favorite band, but À Tout le Monde is my favorite Megadeth song. I even quoted it in my high school yearbook. Twice. Needless to say I’m excited for this beer.
Anyway, very hazy with light head retention, smells of floral and citrus hops. The taste is crisp yet tart initially, with a quick flash of lambic acidity before the clean pale malts and full effervescent body wipe the palate clean. The finish then arrives, long but low to moderate in bitterness, featuring citrus, floral, and herbal hop notes until being replaced with a mineral water finale. Overall, I really like this one, it could certainly be personal bias, but I really like the idea of dry hopping a saison and the end result is equally both refreshing and complex.
