Yeah, I know it’s the middle of summer but it was half off and I love spiced ales! Clear with decent head retention, smells of fig and raisin with notes of cinnamon and clove underneath. The taste is semi-sweet and bready upfront with stone fruit and cinnamon flavors in the background and a full body. The finish is long but low in bitterness, with flavors of herbal hops, more cinnamon, and toffee. Overall, a wonderful spiced ale with enough kick to warm you up on a cold winter’s night.
