I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Scratch Series No 317: Witbier

Hazy with minimal head retention, smells of banana and clove, hints of Belgian yeast funk and lemon zest. The taste is crisp and peppery with some musty yeasty notes and a full body. The finish is low in bitterness, with herbal and citrus hop notes. Overall, this is a damn good witbier. Very complex and well balanced, with some unique added spices and botanicals that help it stand out.
