I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Scratch Series No 284: Raspberry Gose

Tröegs’ Scratch Series are one-off beers made quarterly. What a nice pink color this has, definitely eye-catching. Smells of fresh raspberries with notes of sour acidity and wheat in the background. Tastes like sweet fresh raspberries initially, with a lively mouthfeel, then the tartness grows in intensity until the climactic finish when your saliva finally overwhelms the remaining beer flavor and you’re left with an extremely neutral saliva flavor and and dry mouth you may have had is gone, similar to Dogfish’s SeaQuench Ale. Very cool beer, fun drinking experience and not overly sour like some sours can be.
