I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Grand Cacao

Tröegs Grand Cacao

Flashlight shows a deep amber hue with a solid half-inch head, smells of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts. The taste is smooth and dense with flavors of chocolate milkshake, iced coffee, vanilla, caramel, and toasted bread on a smooth and creamy extra full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, espresso, herbal hops, and a hint of chocolate covered cherry. Overall, this is an excellent stout, bold flavors layered perfectly, the creamiest non-nitro body I’ve ever seen, and to top it all off it’s extremely sessionable as well.
