I review the beers I drink

Trillium – King Sized Almond Crunch

Flashlight shows just a hint of a hazy caramel colored hue and slight sedimentation with solid head retention, smells of coffee, smoked bacon, and subtle chocolate. The taste is sweet and decadent, with flavors of milk chocolate, almond milk, vanilla cream and faint buttered toffee on a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate, almonds, lightly roasted coffee, orange chocolate, and very soft herbal hops. Overall, it’s an excellent stout, not as perfectly balanced as the IPAs, but still well made and it expertly showcases the chosen flavors.
