I review the beers I drink

Trillium – Coconut PM Dawn

Flashlight shows a moderately hazy mahogany hue with minimal head retention, smells of coffee, smoke, and very subtle toasted coconut. The taste is rich and lightly sweet, with flavors of coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, toasted coconut, and charred bread on a syrupy yet smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of coffee, dark chocolate, toasted coconut, burnt caramel, smoke, and herbal hops. Overall, this one is excellent as expected, but also more complex; the coconut flavor doesn’t just stand on it’s own, it blends with and augments all the other flavors and creates all new ones.
