I review the beers I drink

Trillium – Buncha Bananas

Flashlight cannot penetrate this dark-as-night brew, minimal head retention, smells of banana cream pie, chocolate, and coffee. The taste is smooth and fruity with flavors of banana pudding, caramel, honey, chocolate milk, sweet cream and a hint of coffee on a dense, syrupy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate covered bananas, cold brew coffee, and a hint of smoke; no real hop flavor here. Overall, it’s a cool beer, don’t particularly know what makes Thai bananas different, but the flavor is there and semi caramelized through the roasting process, resulting in an unique and rewarding experience.
