First off, I love the label art here of two people stargazing as seen from inside their tent, and with two recursive cans on the ground; really cool. Anyway, flashlight? What flashlight? Minimal head retention, smells of dark chocolate, overripe banana, and alcohol. The taste is lightly sweet with notes of chocolate and banana bread on a thick, full body; coffee and sherry peek through underneath. The finish is moderate in length and low in bitterness, with notes of herbal hops, dark chocolate, and raisin. Overall, this is a really cool beer, I like the idea of chocolate and banana, though it is a bit on the edge of being too heavy at times.
