I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Very Sappy

The extra hopped version of Super Sap.

Hazy and lightly murky with light head retention, smells of papaya, pineapple, and mango. The taste is crisp and lightly tannic with flavors of plantain, grapefruit, blueberries, guava, plum, white grapes, and starfruit on a smooth, almost slick medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of lemon zest, cantaloupe, grapefruit, apricot, and lime peel, as well as a mélange of floral, herbal, and pine hops. Overall, this is actually juicier than Super Sap, though roughly the same level of perceived bitterness in the end; this one has interesting berry and stone fruit notes as well as a more prominent pine character in the finish.
