Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Treaty

Another beer in the Treat series, another light pale ale, this time an homage to West Coast hops. Pours crystal clear with thick head retention, smells of honeydew melon, floral hops, and dry white wine. The taste is crisp and lightly fruity with flavors of Ritz crackers, sourdough, clementines, and cantaloupe on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of orange bitters, grapefruit zest, pine, apricot, and herbal hops. Overall, this is a tasty beer, not as bitter as the premise would imply but I’m fine with that. I also cannot remember if I’ve had a clear hoppy ale from Tree House before or not, and seeing one in a glass is striking.
