I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Space & Time

Flashlight shows absolutely nothing at all, no head retention at all, smells of roasted malts, coffee, and dark chocolate. The taste is sweet and malty with flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla cream, subtle caramel, and dark toasted bread coming together in absolute harmony on a silky smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, vanilla, and just the faintest hint of herbal hops. Overall, this is utterly impressive. This is a stout made with no adjuncts at all, just water, malt, hops, and yeast; yet it is packed with the flavor of several and all balanced perfectly to make something absolutely beautiful in its simplicity.

Canned on: 12/27/20 “THE FINAL FRONTIER?”
