Moderately hazy and lightly murky with minimal head retention, smells of peach, mango, and pineapple. The taste is crisp and juicy, with flavors of pineapple juice, overripe mango, peach, papaya, and banana on a soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of cantaloupe, white grape, lime peels, apricot, grapefruit zest, and soft pine around the edges. Overall, this is a bit of a change for Tree House, it’s ridiculously hoppy and juicy, yet soft and approachable as you’d expect, but the bitterness on the back end seems a little higher, balanced but more pronounced. This beer feels like an attempt at making a Trillium style IPA; and honestly they kinda nailed it.
