I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Quadruple Shot Cold Brew

A flashlight doesn’t even dare show itself to this beer, head retention is minimal, smells of coffee, caramel, and dark chocolate fudge. The taste is roasty and sweet with flavors of créme brûlée, smooth and mellow cold brew coffee, vanilla cream, and chocolate ganache on a thick and syrupy body reminiscent of melted ice cream. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, coffee, chocolate fudge, smoke, devil’s food cake, and a kiss of herbal hops underneath it all. Overall, it’s been awhile since I’ve had a Quadruple Shot, so it’s hard to compare, but I can say this is the richest, smoothest, most decadently indulgent stout I can possibly imagine.
