Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Quadruple Shot

Triple Shot but with a Single Shot added, or two Double Shots.

Flashlight does not show through, but does reveal loads of grayish brown yeast clinging to the bottom and bowl of the glass; minimal head retention, smells of raisins, coffee, and chocolate. The taste is bold and sweet, with flavors of milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla cream, cherry, blueberry, and raisin on a creamy smooth, lightly syrupy, extra thick body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, caramel, vanilla, bergamot, and herbal hops. Overall, this is indeed more flavorful than the Triple, but surprisingly slightly lighter bodied. It’s an epic beer, equal parts mocha cappuccino and fruit salad, it’s quite incredible.
