I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Little Fire Oak

Clear with light head retention, smells of campfire, smoked meats, and caramel. The taste is bready and smoky with flavors of charred biscuits and soft honey on a soft medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of herbal hops, pine, smoke, and a hint of bourbon barrel. Overall, I don’t have much to compare it to and it’s hard to describe. It’s not as smoky as a rauchbier, and not as oaky as a barrel aged beer; the finish is more reminiscent of a Guinness, while the body reminds me of a cream ale. But all of these separate components come together to form something that is both unique and quite enjoyable.
