Flashlight shows zero light, the beer swallows it all like a black hole. Minimal head retention, smells of peanut butter, chocolate milk, and coffee. The taste is sweet, with notes of chocolate and peanut butter, with a subtle smokiness underneath the incredibly thick, almost syrupy body. The finish is long but low in bitterness with notes of dark chocolate and light herbal hops along with residual sweet cream and peanut butter flavors. Overall, wow! Never knew a beer could be this dark, this full-bodied, this flavorful and complex and just the right level of sweetness. Absolutely exquisite!
