I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Double Shot Espresso

The imperial version of Single Shot. I’ve also reviewed the Paragon version of this beer.

Flashlight doesn’t show at all, minimal head retention, smells of coffee, chocolate, and faint vanilla. The taste is sweet and creamy with flavors of espresso, milk chocolate, sweet cream, vanilla, subtle smoke and soft hints of cherry and blueberry on a creamy smooth full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of burnt caramel, dark chocolate, espresso, smoke, and almost non-existent herbal hops. Overall, this beer is absolutely incredible. Hard to say for sure which version of Double is better but my memory seems to think the Paragon was a touch better.
