I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Double Shot Colombian Pink Bourbon

Not even a hint of flashlight shines through, minimal head retention, smells of coffee, bourbon barrel, and subtle smoke. The taste is decadent and lightly sweet with flavors of dark chocolate, cappuccino, chocolate milk, salted caramel, aged bourbon, and honey on a silky smooth, extra thick and creamy full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of vanilla, bourbon cask, milk chocolate, cold brew coffee, subtle smoke and just the slightest hint of herbal hops. Overall, this is so good it’s orgasmic; Double Shot, in all its variations, is perhaps my favorite stout of all time, and this version is no different. The perfect balance between smoothness and complexity, I could drink this beer for the rest of my life and never tire of it. Perfection in a glass.
