I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Behind the Times

Clear with solid head retention, smells of campfire, smoked bacon, and coffee. The taste is crisp and smoky, with flavors of smoked biscuits, caramel, and coffee on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of herbal hops with lots of residual smoke and a hint of coffee. Overall, it’s a true rauchbier! You either love this style or hate it, and I love it. Tree House’s rendition is authentic and meticulously crafted and my only regret is that I don’t have more to make a batch of beer brats with!
