I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Acadia Nights

Flashlight might as well be off, minimal head retention, smells of coffee, chocolate, and pumpkin pie. The taste is crisp and smoky up front, then immediately evolves into a sweet, chocolate and spice flavor on a thick, syrupy body. The finish is moderate in length with low bitterness, featuring subtle herbal hops, fudge, and residual spices. Overall, it tastes a lot like chocolate syrup honestly, there’s spice and coffee underneath, but chocolate syrup is definitely dominant. Would have liked to have picked up on even a little pumpkin on the tongue, but it’s hard to showcase that flavor in a beer this complex.
