I love heavy metal (or in this case grindcore) collaborations with beer, and this label art is fantastic! Lightly hazy with excellent head retention, smells of wildflowers, honey, and pale malts. The taste is crisp with toasted bread being dominant while subtle fruits mingle underneath: apple, pear, citrus; on a full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of herbal, floral, and pine hops along with a hint of booziness. Overall, it’s well balanced and drinks well for as strong as it is, though the flavors are somewhat more reserved than I’m used to for an IPA.
