I review the beers I drink

Tenuta di Arceno – il fauno di Arcanum Toscana IGT 2020

A Super Tuscan made entirely from international (Bordeaux) grape varietals grown in Tuscany. Smells of fig, raisin, and plum with a hint of forest floor underneath. The taste is fruity and bright up front with flavors of plum, cherry, blueberry, strawberry and watermelon on a very full but soft body. The finish is long and dry with a light acidity, and featuring notes of tobacco, dark chocolate, raspberry, leather, vanilla, grape leaves, and oak. Overall this is an absolutely incredible wine, possibly my favorite Tuscan wine I’ve sampled, though the Vino Nobile and Brunello were also fantastic. This one is uniquely full bodied and plush on the palate with an exceptional structure and exquisitely complex. A steal at $36.
