Switchback – Citra Pils

Switchback Citra Pils

Slightly hazy with a thin cap of residual head, smells of clean lager yeast and grassy hops with hints of citrus and lemongrass. The taste is crisp and very bready with a hint of peppery spice and a thick, full body. The finish is moderately bitter with a predominant citrus peel character and some subtle pine and herbal notes underneath. Overall, this is nice, well-balanced pils, although the addition of Citra hops blurs the line here between pilsner and IPL.
