I review the beers I drink

Surly – Double Bladed Axe Man

Moderately hazy with minimal head retention, smells of lime, guava, and pine. The taste is crisp and resinous with flavors of overripe mango, cantaloupe, pineapple, peach, and grapefruit on a full body. The finish is long and moderately high in bitterness, featuring notes of grapefruit peel, apricot, passion fruit, guava, and floral hops. Overall, this one is a little bit fruitier and more tropical than the original, while retaining the balance and drinkability. A sequel that’s actually better than the original.
