(Tonight’s BrewDog is Elvis Juice)
Clear with light head retention, smells of floral hops, jasmine rice, and perhaps a touch a tea leaves. The taste is crisp and bready with notes of toasted grains, subtle citrus, and white tea on a smooth full body. The finish is long and low to moderate in bitterness, featuring notes of mango, floral hops, grapefruit pith, and just the slightest hint of tannins from the tea. Overall, this might be the beer I was most excited for in this pack, and the end result is quite good. The tea flavors are very subtle, but it’s white tea, it doesn’t have a ton of flavor. The hops used do pair nicely, and the bitterness is on the lower end of what you’d expect from Stone, which I appreciate. Definitely grab this one if you have a chance!
