I review the beers I drink

Southern Tier – 2XMAS

Clear with light head retention, smells of orange, ginger, clove, cinnamon, and cardamom. The taste is spicy and lightly sweet with flavors of ginger snap cookies, cinnamon toast crunch, salted caramel, fig, and toasted biscuits on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of herbal hops, tons of residual spices, and a light warming booziness. Overall, this beer is fantastic, this is the epitome of everything a spiced holiday ale should be. It has the perfect blend of spices and each one is identifiable and balanced. Apparently the intention was to make an ale inspired by glögg. As someone who has been to Sweden and had the real thing, and even made my own, I can say they nailed this 100%.
