I review the beers I drink

Sierra Nevada – Sierraveza

Crystal clear with no head retention, smells of adjunct grains and grassy hops. The taste is semi-sweet, with notes of cereal and oatmeal, with a buttery, biscuity character underneath, all on a velvety smooth, ultra light body. The finish is mostly clean with low to moderate bitterness; notes of herbal and vegetal hops. Overall, the smell had me worried it’d be just a boring adjunct lager, but it’s actually very good. Perhaps the most balanced and complex Mexican style lager I’ve had.
