Smells of malts, booze, and maple syrup. Taste is malt and maple with a sour edge, before the hops show up to balance everything out. Smooth mouthfeel and a lightly smoky maple finish. A very interesting beer, very complex, and one of the few “maple beers” where I actually smell and taste the maple; well done.
