Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells like a NE IPA: juicy, fruity, soft doughy malts, it’s all there. The taste is crisp and smooth, mostly soft bready malts up front and mild bite in the back, yet very refreshing, with a smooth, medium body. The finish is lots of tropical and citrus flavors, a little pine underneath, and a moderate bitterness level. Overall, this is a solid IPA, not quite the NE style the nose suggests, but close to it, with perhaps a little west coast finesse.
