I review the beers I drink

Sierra Nevada – Hop Solo

A single-hop IPA featuring the Crystal variety, with an extremely subtle nod to Star Wars, both with the name and in the shape of that hop cone on the label. Clear with decent head retention, smells of juicy citrus and floral hops. The taste is balanced toasted bread with some fruity citrus like flavors underneath and a medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, with herbal, floral, and citrus peel hop notes. Overall it’s good, kinda somewhere between the English and New England IPA styles, it has fruity yet bitter hops and a strong malt body that I haven’t quite seen anywhere else.
