I review the beers I drink

Saranac – Bee Catcher

Clear with solid head retention, smells of pale malt, sourdough, and very faint honey. The taste is crisp with a flavor of lightly toasted bread with rich honey just underneath the medium body. The finish is short and low to moderate in bitterness with notes of floral and citrusy hops along with some residual honey. Overall, I like it; it’s a simple beer, but the honey is noticeable and complex without being overpowering or cloying. One of the best representations of honey flavor in a beer that I’ve tasted.
