It’s been awhile since I’ve had a proper English pale; what I love about this style is the focus on a prominent roasted malt profile to balance out the hops (hence why this one isn’t particularly “pale”).
Clear with fantastic head retention, smells of caramel, biscuits and honey. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of toasted biscuits, burnt caramel, and honeyed oats on a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of herbal and floral hops. Overall this is a great beer, very malty yet balanced, and so smooth!
