I review the beers I drink

Samuel Smith – Organic Chocolate Stout

Flashlight shows a deep crimson hue with solid head retention, smells of hot chocolate and cocoa powder. The taste is rich and lightly sweet with flavors of chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, and charred malts on a silky smooth, almost chewy full body. The finish is long and moderately high in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate, smoke, herbal hops, and vanilla. Overall, this is another fantastic ale from this brewery, the chocolate flavor is dominant but not overpowering while the sweet and bitter flavors are balanced in perfect harmony.
