I review the beers I drink

Samuel Smith – India Ale

Clear with light head retention, smells of caramel, toasted bread, and soft floral hops. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of toasted biscuits and rye with subtle hints of apple and citrus underneath the smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately high in bitterness, featuring notes of grapefruit and pine along with softer herbal, floral, and spicy hops notes. Overall, it’s the classic original IPA, with a strong lightly roasted malt body to back up the hops that encompass the entire spectrum of hop flavors.
