I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Winter White Ale

Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of sourdough, banana, and clove. The taste is doughy and zesty with flavors of sourdough, banana bread, and lemon juice on a pillowy soft medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of clove, lemon zest, bitter greens, herbal hops, and mineral water. Overall, this is a pretty good  witbier, with some nice citrus and spice notes for the holidays. I have no idea what they changed from the Holiday White Ale a few years ago, but the ABV is slightly lower.
