I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Winter Lager

Clear with minimal head retention, with a clean lager smell, though there are subtle notes from the spices used. Taste is crisp and lightly sweet with notes of toasted bread, cinnamon, and ginger with a full body. The finish is dry and warm with low bitterness and hop presence, but a nice wintery spice blend to liven it up. A simple beer, but very warm and inviting, perfect for the season.
