I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Noble Pils

Crystal clear with decent head retention, smells of floral, herbal, and faint spicy hops, really a great bouquet of aromas. Taste is clean, and low in sweetness, but bready and smooth, with a medium body. Finish is similar to the nose, a great blend of earthy, herbal, and spicy hop flavors with an overall moderate bitterness that slowly fades to a remarkably clean, dry finale. This is what a pilsner should be: perfectly balanced between clean but distinctive malts and a blend of Old World hops, no skunky adjunct flavors anywhere, and a light, clean finish that begs for more sips; effortlessly sessionable.
