I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Fresh as Helles

Crystal clear with virtually no head retention, smells of fresh dough, and honey with a bright floral character underneath. Taste is crisp and lightly toasty with a kiss of honey and wildflower that blossoms out of it and a slick, medium body. Finish is lightly hoppy and low in bitterness, with a great floral character, and clean lager fade out. Overall, this is world-class beer, well balanced, complex yet drinkable, effortlessly sessionable, an all around amazing lager.
