Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Cold Snap

I know I’ve had this beer several times before, I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed it yet. Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of orange peel, floral hops, and fresh proofed dough. The taste is crisp and doughy with flavors of sourdough, wheat crackers, banana bread, and  orange juice on a soft and silky smooth medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange peel, lemon zest, herbal hops, and a touch of clove. Overall, this is a very well balanced and refreshing wit, surprisingly sessionable.
