I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Alpine Spring

Apparently, this is the original name that was later changed to Alpine Lager, and is now apparently back to the original name… I’ll review it since it is a different name…

Lightly hazy with a light rocky head, smells of herbal and floral hops and clean pale malt. The taste is crisp and dry up front, with a crackery presence that eventually leads to deeper sweeter flavors of honey and caramel on an effervescent medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of lime peel, herbal/floral hops, pine, and a touch of residual honey sweetness. Overall, this is a very well balanced and enjoyable lager; I would actually buy a 12 pack of this.
