I review the beers I drink

Russian River – Pliny for President

Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of pine, lemongrass, and wildflowers. The taste is thick and resinous with flavors of apple, honeydew melon, grapefruit, and oatmeal on a soft, full body. The finish is long and high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine sap, herbal hops, grapefruit pith, and hints of raisin. Overall, it’s the same flavors of Elder, but twice as strong and with a smoother, thicker body. If given the option would personally prefer the simple, clean, and balanced flavors of the original but this is still an excellent beer.
